Discover Our Wildlife Pond at Callestock

Back in 2019, Ben and his lovely wife Jess purchased the neighbouring land right next to the home farm here at Callestock. Since then, they’ve been hard at work transforming the area—and their biggest project has truly blossomed: a once-wet patch of ground has been carefully rejuvenated into a stunning wildlife pond.

Surrounded by natural woodland, this peaceful haven is now home to an abundance of wildlife. Visitors have already spotted kingfishers, dragonflies, a heron, wild geese, and our favourite seasonal guests—swifts and swallows—gliding over the water in search of flies.

This tranquil space offers something special in every season, but it’s especially magical during spring and summer. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon or evening picnic, a quiet moment of reflection, or simply enjoying nature at its best.
