Orchard Cottage
Nestled in its own private garden on our little friendly dairy farm, Orchard Cottage is the perfect countryside cottage for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children. This welcoming and relaxing cottage blends comfort, character, and a peaceful rural setting.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size oak bed overlooking the meadows, and a twin room with two full-size (3’) beds, ideal for children. The modern shower room includes a heated towel rail and illuminated mirror, adding a little extra indulgence to your stay.
Downstairs, the spacious kitchen/diner comes fully equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The cosy lounge features Orla Kiely curtains, a wood-burning stove, and French doors that open out onto the patio and garden. You’ll also find a large Smart TV, DVD player, DAB radio, and free super-fast WiFi. Underfloor heating on the ground floor ensures year-round warmth
and comfort.
Guests are invited to meet our friendly farm animals – especially the Jersey cows and their adorable calves. Children are welcome to choose a name for one of the newborns! From the cottage, you can watch the cows in the fields each morning. Our peaceful farm trail takes you past the horses and leads to a tranquil wildlife pond where you might spot ducks and other local wildlife.
We’re just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of Perranporth, St Agnes and Holywell, with easy access to the best of Cornwall – from scenic coastal walks and pretty villages to family-friendly attractions and adventures.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a delicious homemade cream tea, complete with home-made scones, strawberry jam, and rich clotted cream. For your beach days, we provide buckets, spades, windbreaks, and surfboards – everything you need for a perfect day by the sea.
