Booking Terms & Conditions
We’re delighted to welcome guests to our properties all year round, and we also offer short breaks at most locations throughout the year.
Booking & Payment
To secure your booking, a deposit is required at the time of reservation – full details are outlined in your Booking Summary. We kindly ask for the names of all guests staying (and the ages of children, where applicable) when you make your booking.
The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date. If you’re booking less than 8 weeks before your stay, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cheque (payable to Mrs E A Down or Callestock Courtyard Cottages).
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your stay, the full cost of the booking will still be payable. That said, we’ll do our very best to re-let the property. If we’re successful, we’ll refund 100% of your payment minus any fees we’ve incurred (such as card processing charges). For peace of mind, we highly recommend arranging holiday cancellation insurance.
During Your Stay
We want you to enjoy a relaxing break, and ask that the property is treated with care and left clean and tidy on departure. You’ll be responsible for any damage or breakages to the property or its contents during your stay – this includes the hot tub where applicable.
If the hot tub requires a water change during your stay, an additional fee may apply. Please let us know as soon as possible if anything gets damaged or broken – we really appreciate your cooperation.
Occupancy
Only registered guests named on your booking are permitted to stay at the property, and for holiday purposes only. The number of guests must not exceed the maximum stated on the website.
Smoking & Pets
All of our properties are strictly non-smoking and we’re unable to accommodate pets.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 3:00pm onwards to allow us time to prepare the property to a high standard. On your day of departure, we kindly ask that you vacate the property by 9:30am.
