Booking Terms & Conditions

Our properties are available all year round and short breaks are also available on most properties all year round.  

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday, details are shown on the Booking Summary.  Names of all guests (and if applicable ages of children) must be supplied at the time of booking.

The balance for your holiday must be paid 8 weeks before the date of arrival. Payment details are shown on the booking summary. If a booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival, the full cost is due at the time of the booking.

We take payment by bank transfer, credit or debit card or cheque made payable to Mrs E A Down

Should you have to cancel your holiday you will be liable to pay the total amount due. However every effort will be made to re-let the property in which case 100% of the cost will be returned, less any costs we incur such as credit/debit card charges.  We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

You are responsible for the property during your stay and at the end of your stay the property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. You will be liable for any damage or breakages to the property or equipment during your stay (this incudes the Hot-tub).  If a water change is required in the Hot-tub during your stay, you may incur an additional charge.  We would appreciate notification of any breakages or damage at your earliest opportunity.

 

 

 

 

 

We permit the guests and members of the guests party (but no-one else) to occupy the property for holiday purposes only. No more than the maximum number of persons stated on the website may occupy a property unless by prior written agreement with us. Extra charges may be applicable.

Smoking is not permitted in any of our properties.  Should you wish to smoke we kindly ask that you show consideration to other guests and do not leave any cigarette butts behind.

You are required to vacate the property by 9.30am on departure day. All properties are prepared to a high standard of cleanliness and therefore we appreciate arrivals not before 3pm. We are unable to accommodate pets and smoking is prohibited in all properties.  

Wheal Anna, Wheal Hope, Wheal Jane and Wheal Kitty are unsuitable for children under the age of 18.  We are able to accommodate a babe in arms in Wheal Busy.

Orchard Cottage, Wheal Anna and Wheal Hope are Saturday changeover.  Callestock Vean, Wheal Busy, Wheal Kitty and Wheal Jane are Friday changeover.
