Walking Holidays in Cornwall
If you love walking, you’re in for a treat – Cornwall is a walker’s paradise
From dramatic coastal paths with sea views that take your breath away to quiet inland bridleways winding through peaceful countryside, there’s something here for everyone.
Each of our holiday cottages is well-stocked with everything you’ll need to get walking – including local walking guides, detailed OS maps of the area, and circular walk books to inspire your next outing. There’s even a full OS Map library of Cornwall in the farmhouse, lovingly curated by Liz. Just pack your walking boots – adventure awaits right outside your door!

One of our favourite nearby routes is the walk from Perranporth to St Agnes, with stunning views around St Agnes Beacon and St Agnes Head – a regular guest favourite (and Liz and Nick’s too!). Venture further afield to discover some of Cornwall’s most iconic walking routes – from the wild cliffs of the Lizard Peninsula to the rugged charm of Land’s End. Stroll the scenic stretch from Marazion to Mousehole, follow the coastal path from St Ives to Sennen, or explore the golden sands between Holywell and Crantock. Up north, the circular walk from Padstow to Stepper Point rewards you with panoramic sea views, while down south, the Fowey to Lantic Bay route offers tranquil woodland trails and hidden coves with turquoise waters.
Liz and Nick are always happy to chat and share their favourite local walks. Having explored the area on foot for many years – often stopping for a cream tea or a pint of cider en route – they’re a fantastic source of local knowledge and they’ll happily point you in the right direction.
And after a day of Cornish adventures, there’s nothing better than coming home to Calletock – cosy, peaceful, and the perfect place to put your feet up and plan tomorrow’s adventure.
