New A30 Opening 24th June 2024

Just had to share this great news with everyone…the new A30 will be open to traffic on Monday 24th June 2024.
After 3 long years of road closures, hold-ups, diversions, and additional traffic on the country roads, we are delighted to be able to inform everyone that the new A30 will be opening to traffic on Monday 24th June 2024. This scheme has been such a long time coming to an end, but finally the wait is over and we couldn’t be happier.
Guests coming to Callestock will need to leave the A30 at Carland Cross and travel down the old A30 road, which will become a B road (not sure of the number yet) and then come into Zelah and down to us as normal. The short-cut to Truro is back open again, which is great for us to head into Truro at any time of the day and not get held up.
We’ll let you know how to get onto the A30 to travel around the county when you are here with us next, but we can assure you that it will be much easier to move around our beautiful Cornwall again.
