Orchard Cottage
Set in it's own garden, Orchard Cottage is a welcoming and relaxing cottage on our small friendly farm and is perfect for a family holiday - 2 adults and 2 children. It has achieved 4 stars and a Gold Award from Quality in Tourism!
There are two good sized bedrooms, a double with a kingsize oak bed overlooking our meadows and a twin (2x3' beds), and a super shower room upstairs with a heated mirror and heated towel rail. Downstairs has a spacious kitchen/diner with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The lovely lounge with feature Orla Kiely curtains and also with a super wood burning stove opens out to the patio and garden through French doors and has a 47" smart TV, DVD player, DAB radio and free super-fast WIFI internet access. The ground floor benefits from underfloor heating.
Come and meet the animals, we have Jersey Cows and their babies – choose a name for one of the new born baby calves. When you wake up in the morning you can watch the cows from your bedroom. Our farm trail takes you along the path to where the horses live and also on to our wonderful wildlife pond where you may catch a glimpse of the ducks.
We are close to the stunning beaches at Perranporth and St Agnes and to all that Cornwall has to offer. A delicious cream tea with homemade scones, lashings of strawberry jam and homemade clotted cream will be waiting for you! We have buckets and spades, windbreaks and surfboards all here waiting for you to make use of on the beach.
