We were very lucky to host the very lovely TV chef Tom Kerridge here at Callestock last Autumn and we are hopefully going to appear on his TV show on ITV on the 18th July.

Just had to share this great news with everyone…the new A30 will be open to traffic on Monday 24th June 2024.

We know that like us all of of our guests love breakfast, coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or a cocktail with a view!! So we’ve done a bit of research and come up with some beauties for you to try while holidaying with us here at Callestock Courtyard.

A surprising number of brewhouses/taprooms have sprung up not far from Callestock, so if you are into craft beers we recommend giving these ones a try. The Black Flag and The Brewhouse at Lanteague are definitely within cycling distance from our cottages.

Cornwall’s Christmas markets get better every year, attracting thousands to their fantastic stalls and entertainment – the ideal last minute break for two to blow away the cobwebs.

Doc Martin has helped put Port Isaac on the map, Poldark has shone a light on the north coast and far west, as has Rosemunde Pilcher, but there are many hidden gems in Cornwall you might not have seen before.

There’s something magical about wandering through carpets of soft, fragrant bluebells, with the sun twinkling through the leaves and the birds singing in the trees. There are plenty of fantastic places in Cornwall that we love to visit in the Spring to catch the bluebells at their very best.
