If you like to discover new tastes, techniques and ingredients, you'll love food festival season - it kicks off in September, bringing plenty of mouth-watering delights and expert cooking demonstrations to inspire even the most inexperienced chef.
See the techniques used by the region's finest chefs to prepare and cook locally-caught sustainable fish. There will be tasty treats to sample and buy, from crab and hake to mackerel and lobster.
There will also be live music, artisan gifts made in Cornwall, and a lively atmosphere that guarantees a smile.

Celebrating the start of the oyster dredging season, this annual event is always fantastic fun - chef demos, live music, seafood bars, and the working boat race make for a busy weekend of entertainment.
You'll also find vintage cars on show and an all-action air show. Don't miss the shucking competition if you're up for a challenge.

This reincarnation of the Looe Music Festival is run by the local community - as well as Cornish food and drink, it also features toe-tapping tunes performed in 2019 by stars including Level 42, Newton Faulkner and Fisherman's Friends.
You can also try your hand at tai chi, hula hooping or playing the ukelele as part of the free workshop programme run on the quay.

It's Cornwall's largest beer festival and it guarantees an entertaining weekend, but it's not just beer - promise. There's also cider, real ale, gin and Cornish spirits, along with live music and street food.
The event is hosted in one of Cornwall's most vibrant towns, with award-winning restaurants, quirky independent shops and galleries, and hundreds of years of maritime history.

This is one of our favourite events of the year - some of Cornwall's finest food and drink producers, all under one roof - heaven! The Festival is held on the quay in the city of Truro - as you'd expect at a celebration of Cornish food and drink, there will be oodles of delicious free samples, foodie talks and live music.
The packed 3-day event, which attracts over 30,000 visitors, also offers cooking demonstrations by well-known chefs including Jack Stein and Irini Tzortzoglour,
