Perranporth Beach is cited as one of the best in Cornwall, with its miles of white sand, blue waters and towering sand dunes.
It might be a bit bracing outdoors in December, but head five minutes into the village and the Bolingey Inn offers a warming home-cooked Christmas meal, with products and ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
