Cornwall has recently become a real foodie destination, and offers an abundance of quality restaurants, cafes and local pubs, all within easy reach of our beautiful holiday cottages.
Local to Callestock you will find the Hawkins Arms, our local pub which serves delicious homecooked food and is within a walk or cycle ride from us. Another of our favourites is The Pheasant Inn in the neighbouring village of St Newlyn East, a super pub offering delightful homecooked food. One of the best Sunday Lunches offering mouth watering local meats and their home grown vegetables can be found at the Bolingey Inn, not far from Perranporth. Bolingey is a firm favourite with all of our guests!
Truro offers a number of superb restaurants and cafes; for something a little different we love to eat at Saffron. Here you will find local food served in a relaxed and friendly environment at reasonable prices making it a popular choice and so it is essential to book. Another of our favourites in Truro is the One Eyed Cat - super food at lunchtime or in the evening with a fantastic welcome and atmosphere! We love to eat fish and can highly recommend Indaba, there are two of these restaurants, one in Truro and the other by the sea near Falmouth - this one has beautiful views across Falmouth Bay!
For a stunning sea view whilst enjoying some wonderful Cornish seafood, look no further than the Porthminster Beach Cafe at St Ives, this is a fabulous place and one not to be missed. Book early for a window table!
